Personal Statement: I enjoy not only the finished book object, but also engaging in the many processes of its becoming. I am independent in spirit and often prefer to work in solitude. Yet, to the degree that communication and connection are a social phenomenon, my books exist to act as an intermediary- to elicit a conversation of sorts between the viewer and myself about concepts and ideas that I hold dear. If my books are successful, they will do just that.
