Personal Statement: These are collages assembled out of plant materials, collected in my garden and surrounding fields. I do not alter that material, finding the exceptional shapes and colors provided by nature to be amazing enough. I carefully press the deconstructed plants and create a composition using parts from many plants. My hope is to get you to look and think about the remarkable and wonderous forms we rush by on a routine basis.
