Personal Statement:Tom Markgraf is a mixed media sculptor. He is co-owner of a ceramic studio/business Markgraf Clayworks in Newark, OH. He is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design. Tom specializes in mixed media sculpture featuring welded steel, wood and clay. He has had exhibitions of his work in numerous galleries and has created commissions for several individuals and organizations, including the Wexner Center for Pediactric Research in Ohio and Opera San Jose in California.
